Fleetwood Mac<\/strong>\u2019s Mick Fleetwood<\/strong> and ukulele virtuoso\u00a0Jake Shimabukuro\u00a0<\/strong>have released another song from their upcoming album, <\/span>Blues Experience<\/span><\/em>, which comes out Oct. 18.<\/span><\/p>\n

The latest is a cover of the Procol Harum<\/strong> classic \u201c<\/span>Whiter Shade Of Pale<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a song I\u2019ve always wanted to play\u2026 of course, the song recorded by Procol Harum was a world-renowned classic\u2026 with a melody so strong that it became a gift to us!\u201d Mick shares. \u201cAnd Jake totally commands the full need for dynamics and a passionate delivery. At last, I got to play and record this song!!!”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was a song that Mick suggested. Such an iconic piece of music,” Jake adds. “It truly plays like an anthem. And Mick<\/span>\u02bb<\/span>s drumming makes the track feel amazing. I was just transported through his drum sounds.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is the second tune the pair has shared from the record, following their take on the blues classic \u201cRollin\u2019 N Tumblin\u2019.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Blues Experience <\/span><\/em>also has the\u00a0two artists covering songs like Neil\u00a0Young<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cRockin\u2019 In The Free World\u201d and the\u00a0Christine McVie<\/strong>-penned\u00a0Fleetwood Mac\u00a0<\/strong>track \u201cSongbird,” with Mick also adding a spoken word version of the song. Jake penned one original song, \u201cKula Blues,\u201d about the area in Maui where Mick lives.<\/span><\/p>\n
