Warren Haynes<\/strong> is finally sharing details of his new solo record.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gov\u2019t Mule<\/strong> frontman first teased the record, <\/span>Million Voices Whisper<\/span><\/em>, back in July. Now he\u2019s announced that it will be coming out digitally and on CD Nov. 1, and on vinyl Nov. 15.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis album is quite different than my previous solo records,\u201d Haynes shares. \u201cThere’s a lot of soul music influence but very song oriented with subtle nods to a few of my heroes. \u2026 I’m really proud of this new album.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Million Voices Whisper<\/span><\/em>, Haynes’ first solo record in almost a decade, features guest appearances by Derek Trucks<\/strong>, Lukas Nelson<\/strong> and Jamey Johnson<\/strong>. It is being previewed with the release of the first single, \u201c<\/span>This Life As We Know It,<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u201d along with an in-studio <\/span>performance video<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that features behind-the-scenes footage.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt has a very uplifting message and musically, as well, it is just a very positive feeling song,\u201d Haynes says of the tune. \u201cOne that I feel we can all relate to. It\u2019s about moving forward and getting past a lot of things but feeling good about life and feeling good about yourself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Million Voices Whisper<\/span><\/em> is <\/span>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a> now. There will also be a deluxe CD edition that includes four additional tracks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Haynes and his Warren Haynes Band<\/strong> will support the album with the upcoming Million Voices Whisper Tour, which kicks off Sept. 19 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A complete list of dates can be found at warrenhaynes.net<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
