This Kinks AI cover is like horror show sounds\u00a0(f******) horrible,\u201d Dave <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/davedavieskinks\/status\/1829377204507271355\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>wrote on social media<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> alongside the link to the AI-generated song \u201cHop Skip Jump!\u201d He <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/davedavieskinks\/status\/1830140911042347142\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>also noted<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0\u201cit wasn\u2019t even vaguely like a Kinks song, which I\u2019m glad it\u2019s not. This Kinks AI cover is like horror show.&#8217;\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Not long after Davies posted his comments, the link was taken off YouTube. The creator, who goes by @leeroymusical on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/leeroysmusical\/status\/1829396851243827416\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>social media site X,<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> replied to Davies\u2019 post, \u201cSorry Dave I\u2019m a big fan and my favourite all time band. I meant no disrespect. I have taken down.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He then added, \u201cHopefully you prefer my cover of Living in a Thin Line,\u201d to which Davies seemed to approve, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/davedavieskinks\/status\/1829776912941518953\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>sharing<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">, \u201cI really like your cover.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
