They currently occupy three of the top five positions on the U.K.&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.officialcharts.com\/chart-news\/david-gilmour-luck-and-strange-number-1-album-uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Official Album Chart<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d like to thank everyone who\u2019s bought my new album, <em>Luck And Strange<\/em>, and helped to make it Number 1 in the Official Albums Chart,&#8221; Gilmour <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_WCeo04_voc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>said in a statement<\/strong><\/a>. He&#8217;d previously topped the chart with <em>On An Island<\/em>\u00a0from 2006 and <em>Rattle That Lock<\/em>\u00a0from 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Gilmour also addressed yet again the question of whether Pink Floyd would ever reunite. Speaking to the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/lMSCBa4BnM8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>U.K.&#8217;s ITV News<\/strong><\/a>, he said, &#8220;Dream on. I mean, it\u2019s not gonna happen.
