The 50th anniversary of George Harrison<\/strong>\u2019s solo album <\/span>Living in the Material World<\/span><\/em> is being celebrated with a <\/span>series of new reissues<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, including a super deluxe edition\u00a0featuring 12 previously unreleased recordings.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Harrison\u2019s wife,\u00a0Olivia<\/strong>, and son,\u00a0Dhani<\/strong>, oversaw the project, with Olivia sharing, \u201cI hope you revisit <\/span>Living in the Material World<\/span><\/em> or discover it for the first time, and as you listen, share George\u2019s wish for himself and mankind.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The super deluxe edition will be limited to only 5,000 copies, and will include two LPs and two CDs, featuring the newly remixed album, plus a separate disc with previously unreleased early editions of each song on the album.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first preview of those recordings is \u201c<\/span>Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth) (Take 18)<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d an early acoustic version of Harrison\u2019s second solo #1. It is available now <\/span>via digital outlets<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The super deluxe edition will also include a Blu-ray featuring the album in Dolby Atmos; a 7-inch single of a previously unheard recording of \u201cSunshine Life for Me (Sail Away Raymond)\u201d featuring Harrison\u2019s Beatles<\/strong> bandmate Ringo Starr<\/strong> and\u00a0The Band<\/strong>\u2019s Robbie Robertson<\/strong>, Levon Helm<\/strong>, Garth Hudson<\/strong>\u00a0and Rick Danko<\/strong>;\u00a0and a 60-page booklet with extensive notes, and archival photos and artwork.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the super deluxe edition, there will be two-LP and two-CD deluxe editions that include the session outtakes. It will also be released as a single CD and LP, with limited-edition color vinyl variants available at various retailers, including a purple color vinyl from the Harrison online store.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

All formats will be released Nov. 15 and are <\/span>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a> now.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n
