The 25th anniversary of David Bowie<\/strong>\u2019s album ‘<\/span>hours\u2026’<\/span><\/em> is being celebrated with two special digital EPs, featuring four previously unreleased tracks.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first, <\/span>Live From Manhattan Center \u201999<\/span><\/em>, is out now. It features three live performances recorded for the U.K. TV show <\/span>Top of the Pops <\/span><\/em>that were\u00a0never broadcast. That will be followed on Oct. 11 by the six-track<\/span> \u2018hours\u2026\u2019 REMIX EP<\/span><\/em>, which includes a previously unheard hip-hop mix of the song \u201cThursday\u2019s Child,\u201d along with two remixes of the song \u201cSeven,\u201d done by rocker Beck<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not all. Four performances from\u00a0a\u00a0Dec. 4, 1999,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>appearance by Bowie on<\/span> Later\u2026With Jools Holland<\/span><\/em>\u00a0will be released to\u00a0the late rocker’s official YouTube\u00a0channel on Sept. 23 and Sept. 30. Among those tracks are performances of \u201cAshes to Ashes\u201d and “Cracked Actor.”\u00a0Footage\u00a0will also be\u00a0released from the <\/span>Live From Manhattan Center \u201999\u00a0<\/span><\/em>performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Released Sept. 21, 1999, <\/span>\u2018hours\u2026\u2019<\/span><\/em> was Bowie\u2019s 22nd studio album and the first album by a major artist to be made available for download. The album was a top five hit in the U.K, but failed to hit the top 40 in the U.S.<\/span><\/p>\n
