Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason<\/strong>, best known for his work with\u00a0Traffic<\/strong>, has announced he\u2019s dealing with some serious health issues that have forced\u00a0him to cancel\u00a0his fall Traffic Jam 2024 tour.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the announcement, \u201cdoctors detected a serious heart condition during a routine appointment that requires immediate medical attention.” The announcement notes that Mason’s\u00a0expected to make a \u201cfull and successful recovery.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m heartbroken to have to cancel these dates, but it’s Doctor\u2019s orders,\u201d Mason said in a statement. \u201cI\u2019ll be back, and better than ever, in 2025.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Mason, who recently released his memoir, <\/span>Only You Know and I Know<\/span><\/em>, was due to play Santa Barbara on Tuesday and had West Coast dates\u00a0booked through Oct. 12 in Stateline, Nevada.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n
