The Bangles<\/strong>\u2019 Susanna Hoffs<\/strong> is getting ready to release a new old album.<\/span><\/p>\n

The singer\u00a0will drop the archival album <\/span>The Lost Record <\/span><\/em>on Oct. 18<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>which she recorded in her garage back in 1999 but never released. It features songs she wrote and recorded with\u00a0a variety of artists, including\u00a0the Go-Go\u2019s<\/strong> Charlotte Caffey<\/strong> and Jane Wiedlin<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hoffs describes the\u00a0recording of the album as a \u201csweet, special period of being home with a new baby, but also an exploration of identity, separate from the Bangles.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She adds, \u201cIt’s an immense thrill to finally be able to share rare recordings that have been near and dear to my heart.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The first single from the album is \u201c<\/span>Under a Cloud<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d which was eventually released by the Bangles in 2011. It is available now via <\/span>digital outlets<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Lost Record <\/span><\/em>is <\/span>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a> now on limited-edition vinyl and CD.<\/span><\/p>\n
