Le Brecht II<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Stevie Nicks<\/strong> is set to drop a brand new song on Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The singer announced the\u00a0new track &#8220;The Lighthouse&#8221; on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DAXJgNYNZt4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>social media<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">, sharing a short snippet of the song\u00a0in which she\u2019s heard singing \u201cI wanna teach \u2018em to fight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And fans\u00a0may get to see Stevie sing her new track soon. She\u2019s booked as the musical guest for the Oct. 12 episode of\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Saturday Night Live<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">, with host\u00a0<strong>Ariana Grande<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Back in June, Stevie hinted that she had a new album in the works, telling <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mojo4music.com\/articles\/stories\/stevie-nicks-working-on-new-music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><span class=\"s1\"><strong>MOJO<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span class=\"s1\"> <\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">she started to write again after the pandemic and had at least two songs done, including \u201cthis song about women\u2019s rights that I think is really strong.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She noted, &#8220;So maybe that\u2019s the beginning of an album.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If she does release a new album, it would be Nicks\u2019 first solo record since 2011\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">In Your Dreams<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
