In a video <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DAY-fxQRF5z\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>posted to social media<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0Thursday, Van Zant shares that it was his youngest daughter,\u00a0<strong>Taylor Marion<\/strong>, and that doctors found a mass on her brain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cA couple of days ago, Taylor started having [a] numbing feeling on her right side. She went to the emergency room,\u201d he said. \u201cThey did a CAT scan and they found a, the only way to say it is a mass on her brain. And some of it was bleeding, that was causing the numbing part.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Johnny says doctors don\u2019t believe it\u2019s cancer, but notes \u201cthey&#8217;re still doing a lot of testing and we&#8217;re not out of the woods yet, but we&#8217;re in a lot better position than we thought we were in, in the beginning.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAnd, so, keep saying the prayers for Taylor,\u201d he added. \u201cI can&#8217;t thank you enough. It means everything to me and my family.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lynyrd Skynyrd was forced to cancel shows in Anchorage, West Valley, Loveland, Colorado Springs and Albuquerque. Their next scheduled show is at the Field &amp; Stream Festival in Winnsboro Mills, South Carolina, taking place Oct. 4-6.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
