She shares stories of going to local clubs with Hendrix and getting to see him perform, noting, \u201cWhen you saw him, it was magic &#8230; his music was everything.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Producer\/engineer <strong>Eddie Kramer<\/strong> is also interviewed for the film, where he talks about working in the studio with the rocker, sharing, \u201cThere was this wonderful communication where we understood each other.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The film is a companion to the recently released Hendrix box set, <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision. <\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">The set, dedicated to Hendrix&#8217;s legendary New York studio, Electric Lady, features a treasure trove of previously unreleased music from the\u00a0<strong>Jimi Hendrix Experience<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The set also\u00a0includes the full-length documentary of the same name, which debuted in theaters in August.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"raw-html-embed\"><iframe width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r-wgpAIPE8A\" title=\"Jimi Hendrix\u2019s New York\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
