Although she tried to resist, Stevie Nicks<\/strong> sings in <\/span>the new\u00a0promo<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0for this weekend\u2019s episode of <\/span>Saturday Night Live<\/span><\/em>, where she\u2019ll serve as musical guest<\/span><\/p>\n

Two clips were released featuring Stevie, host Ariana Grande<\/strong> and cast member Bowen Yang<\/strong>, and it\u2019s in the second one where Stevie gives in and sings.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the clip, Bowen comments about it being Ariana\u2019s second time hosting the show, to which Ari replies, \u201cYou know what they say, lightning strikes, maybe once,\u201d with Bowen adding, \u201cMaybe twice,\u201d which is a lyric to Stevie\u2019s hit \u201cGypsy.\u201d Stevie then warns them, \u201cYou can\u2019t trick me into singing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But they don\u2019t give up. Bowen then asks Ariana how her weekend was, and she responds, \u201cIt was good, you know, I climbed a mountain and I turned around,\u201d with Bowen adding, \u201cThat\u2019s so funny cause I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills,\u201d both lyrics to the Fleetwood Mac<\/strong> tune \u201cLandslide.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Stevie finally gives in, singing \u201cAnd the landslide brought me down,\u201d prompting both Bowen and Ari to exclaim \u201cYes!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This will be Nicks\u2019 second time performing on\u00a0<\/span>SNL<\/span><\/em>. The last time she was on the show was in December 1983, when she performed \u201cStand Back\u201d and \u201cNightbird\u201d from her sophomore solo album,\u00a0<\/span>The Wild Heart<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stevie recently released the new single “The Lighthouse,” a song about women’s rights, which she says she started writing a few months after Roe v. Wade was overturned.<\/span><\/p>\n
