The figure is expected to debut later this year in Madame Tussauds London\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Impossible Festival\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">music zone, which already features\u00a0statues of\u00a0<strong>Queen<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>Freddie Mercury<\/strong> and <strong>David Bowie<\/strong>\u2019s Ziggy Stardust, as well as\u00a0<strong>Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>, <strong>Ed Sheeran<\/strong>, <strong>Ariana Grande\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Amy Winehouse<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe\u2019ve been creating figures of Sir Elton John since the beginning of his legendary career, and he has always inspired us to go above and beyond in our creations,\u201d <strong>Steve Blackburn<\/strong>, general manager at Madame Tussauds London, says. \u201cBack in the 1970s, his first figure was our first talking figure, and in 2024 we\u2019re determined to go big again.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He adds, \u201cThe figure\u2019s iconic, gravity-defying pose will capture the essence of Elton\u2019s legendary early performances in a way that only Madame Tussauds London can.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
