Ringo Starr<\/strong> is\u00a0finally\u00a0ready to share his country album with fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Beatles<\/strong> legend just announced he\u2019ll release <\/span>Look Up<\/span><\/em>, co-written and produced by T Bone Burnett<\/strong>, on Jan. 10.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album features 11 songs, with special guest appearances by Billy Strings<\/strong>, Molly Tuttle<\/strong>, Lucius<\/strong>, Larkin Poe<\/strong> and Alison Krauss<\/strong>, the latter appearing on the\u00a0album’s\u00a0closing song, “Thankful,\u201d which was co-written by Ringo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always loved country music. And when I asked T Bone to write me a song, I didn\u2019t even think at the time that it would be a country song \u2013 but of course it was, and it was so beautiful,\u201d Ringo shares. \u201cI had been making EPs at the time and so I thought we would do a country EP – but when he brought me nine songs I knew we had to make an album! And I am so glad we did.\u201d<\/span>

He adds, \u201cI want to thank, and send Peace & Love, to T Bone and all the great musicians who helped make this record. It was a joy making it and I hope it is a joy to listen to.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans are getting their first preview of the record with the just released song \u201c<\/span>Time on My Hands<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d which was co-written by Burnett, Paul Kennerly<\/strong> and Daniel Tashian<\/strong>. It is available now via <\/span>digital outlets<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

And Ringo will celebrate the release of <\/span>Look Up<\/span><\/em> with two shows\u00a0at Nashville\u2019s Ryman Auditorium, billed as Ringo Starr & Friends. The shows are happening Jan. 14 and Jan. 15, with tickets going on sale Oct. 25.<\/span><\/p>\n
