Bruce Springsteen<\/strong>\u2019s manager Jon Landau<\/strong> sounds\u00a0excited about\u00a0the casting of Jeremy Allen White<\/strong>\u00a0to play The Boss in the upcoming movie <\/span>Deliver Me From Nowhere<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh my god, he\u2019s just perfect. The casting is great,\u201d Landau\u00a0tells\u00a0<\/span>The Hollywood Reporter<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>noting that director Scott Cooper<\/strong> told him, “We get the right cast, and we\u2019ll tell this story right.” Landau added that “he got the right cast.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As for how he feels about <\/span>Succession<\/span><\/em> star Jeremy Strong<\/strong> playing him\u00a0on the big screen, Landau says, \u201cI died and went to heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Landau calls Strong “a great guy,” sharing, “We\u2019ve had the chance to know each other, and I\u2019m just dying to see what he does and what I learn from it.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for the whole project, Landau\u00a0says he and Springsteen aren\u2019t directly involved, but\u00a0adds that they’re\u00a0\u201cvery pleased at the way they\u2019re going about it, it\u2019s going to be beautiful.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Deliver Me From Nowhere <\/span><\/em>follows Springsteen\u2019s efforts to make his 1982 solo album\u00a0<\/span>Nebraska<\/span><\/em>. The film is based on\u00a0Warren Zanes<\/strong>‘ book\u00a0<\/span>Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen\u2019s Nebraska<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
