We\u00a0will never be able to see Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young<\/strong> again now that David Crosby<\/strong> has passed, but Graham Nash<\/strong> says it\u2019s doubtful he\u2019ll ever play with his other bandmates, Stephen Stills<\/strong> and Neil Young<\/strong>, again either.<\/span><\/p>\n

While talking to <\/span>Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> about the new CSNY live album,\u00a0<\/span>Live At The Fillmore East, 1969<\/span><\/em>, Graham noted that they dedicated the record to Crosby because \u201che really was the heartbeat of this band, and his passing brought a halt to us all making music together.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think that me and Stephen and Neil will ever play together again,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for why he doesn’t think it’ll happen,\u00a0Nash explains, \u201cThere\u2019s no heart there. David was the center of it all, as crazy as he was. And my God, he was crazy. But he was the heart of this band,\u201d adding, \u201cAnd that\u2019s why I think that if Stephen and Neil and I ever played together, people would be missing Crosby. We would be missing Crosby. It just would be a much colder scene.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI really miss him. I miss him more every day because life is choices, and I only choose to remember the good times that David and I had, the good music that we made together,\u201d Nash says. \u201cWhen I try and think about the bad things that happened, I don\u2019t want to do that. I made the choice to only remember the good stuff.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

David Crosby died Jan. 18, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

Live At The Fillmore East, 1969 <\/span><\/em>is due out Friday. It\u2019s <\/span>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a> now.<\/span><\/p>\n
