Two new versions of the George Harrison<\/strong> track \u201cBe Here Now\u201d\u00a0have just been released, both of which will appear on the upcoming 50th anniversary reissue of Harrison\u2019s second\u00a0solo album,\u00a0<\/span>Living in the Material World<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Harrison estate just released\u00a0what’s being called the \u201c<\/span>Take 8<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u201d version, which was recorded Oct. 12, 1972, as well as a new mix from Grammy Award-winning engineer Paul Hicks<\/strong>. Both are available now via <\/span>digital outlets<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coinciding with the\u00a0releases is a <\/span>new video<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, including\u00a0art from guru Ram Dass<\/strong>\u2019 <\/span>Be Here Now<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> book.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 50th anniversary reissue of<\/span> Living in the Material World <\/span><\/em>is set to drop Nov. 15 in a variety of formats, including a super deluxe edition featuring 12 previously unreleased recordings, a newly mixed version of the album and a Blu-ray featuring the album in Dolby Atmos; and\u00a0a 7-inch single of a previously unheard recording of \u201cSunshine Life for Me (Sail Away Raymond)\u201d featuring Harrison\u2019s\u00a0Beatles\u00a0<\/strong>bandmate\u00a0Ringo Starr\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0The Band<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0Robbie Robertson<\/strong>,\u00a0Levon Helm<\/strong>,\u00a0Garth Hudson\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Rick Danko<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be two-LP and two-CD deluxe editions and single CD and LP versions, with limited-edition color vinyl variants.<\/span><\/p>\n
