Bon Jovi\u00a0<\/strong>landed their first #1 album with their third studio release,\u00a0<\/span>Slippery When Wet<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album spent eight weeks on top of the chart and went on to be certified 12-times Platinum by the RIAA.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The record featured their signature tune, \u201cLivin\u2019 On A Prayer,\u201d as well as \u201cYou Give Love A Bad Name\u201d and \u201cWanted Dead or Alive.” It’s the New Jersey rockers\u2019 bestselling album to date.<\/span><\/p>\n

Slippery When Wet\u00a0<\/span><\/em>was the first of four #1 albums for Bon Jovi. Their others\u00a0are 1988’s\u00a0<\/span>New Jersey<\/span><\/em>, 2007’s\u00a0<\/span>Lost Highway\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and 2009’s\u00a0<\/span>The Circle<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Slippery When Wet<\/span><\/em>\u00a0has since gone on to be certified 15-times Platinum by the RIAA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bon Jovi, who is in the midst of celebrating their 40th anniversary, released a new album in 2024, <\/span>Forever<\/span><\/em>, which peaked at #5 on the <\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em> 200 Album chart.<\/span><\/p>\n
