Guitars belonging to\u00a0Eddie Van Halen<\/strong>, George Harrison<\/strong>, Eric Clapton<\/strong> and more will be part of Julien\u2019s Auctions’ upcoming \u201cPlayed, Worn\u00a0& Torn II” auction, happening Nov. 20-21\u00a0live in Nashville, as well as online.<\/span><\/p>\n

The auction house previously revealed that Van Halen\u2019s 1993 Ernie Ball Music Signature Canada Day guitar and Harrison\u2019s early Beatles<\/strong> era Futurama guitar would be part of the auction, but now the other instruments up for grabs have been revealed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Other guitars on the auction block include: a signed Torino Red Fender Stratocaster electric guitar played by\u00a0<\/strong>Clapton during his 1989-1991 Journeyman tour; a 1997 Gibson Custom Shop Ron Wood<\/strong> VSJ-200 acoustic guitar, signed by The Rolling Stone<\/strong> guitarist with lyrics from the Faces<\/strong> song \u201cOoh La La\u201d; and Prince<\/strong>\u2019s 1985 Sadowsky Telecaster, played on his 1986 Parade tour. There are also signed guitars from\u00a0Alice Cooper<\/strong>, John Mellencamp<\/strong>, Peter Frampton\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Keith Richards<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also being auctioned off is a tinsel-adorned Christmas-themed hat worn by Freddie Mercury<\/strong> during Queen<\/strong>\u2019s December 1979 charity concert at London\u2019s Odeon Hammersmith, and the mic The Who<\/strong>‘s\u00a0Roger Daltrey<\/strong> used during The Who Hits Back 2022 North American tour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over 1,000 items will be part of the auction, with proceeds going to several different charities, including City of Hope, Sweet Relief Music Fund, Teenage Cancer Trust and Rock for a Cause.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The “Played, Worn & Torn II\u201d auction will take place at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville, where items in the auction will be on\u00a0display to the public through Nov. 21.<\/span><\/p>\n
