With Halloween in the past, many are already focusing on their plans for the Christmas season. NBC, for example, has just announced\u00a0A Motown Christmas\u00a0<\/em>special, which will bring together legends and contemporary stars for performances of more than 25 Motown hits and a few holiday favorites.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The lineup includes Gladys Knight<\/strong>,\u00a0Martha Reeves<\/strong> & the Vandellas<\/strong>, The Temptations<\/strong>, Ashanti<\/strong>, Andra<\/strong> Day<\/strong>, BeBe Winans<\/strong>, Jamie Foxx<\/strong>, JoJo<\/strong>, Jordin Sparks<\/strong>, mgk<\/strong>, October London<\/strong> and Pentatonix<\/strong>, with Smokey Robinson<\/strong> and Halle Bailey<\/strong> taking on hosting duties.<\/p>\n

There will also be tributes to Diana Ross and The Supremes<\/strong>, Marvin Gaye<\/strong>, Stevie Wonder<\/strong> and Motown founder Berry Gordy<\/strong> as well as an exclusive performance from the Broadway company\u00a0MJ the Musical.<\/em><\/p>\n

NBC is honored to spotlight the iconic legacy of Motown with a festive celebration for the holiday season,” said Jen Neal<\/strong>, NBCUniversal Entertainment\u2019s executive VP of live events & specials.<\/p>\n

Debbie<\/strong> Allen <\/strong>will serve as executive producer of A Motown Christmas<\/em>, as will Suzanne de Passe<\/strong> and Madison Jones<\/strong> of De Passe Jones Entertainment. Rickey Minor<\/strong> is the musical director and SpringHill’s the leading production of the telecast.<\/p>\n

“I’m thrilled to be back in the saddle with Motown and Suzanne de Passe to bring to the world this much-needed holiday family special. The music of Motown has always been magical, and we are going to sing and dance everyone into Christmas joy!\u201d Debbie said.<\/p>\n

A Motown Christmas <\/em>will air\u00a0Dec. 11 on NBC at 9 p.m. ET\/PT and the following day on Peacock.<\/p>\n
