Elton John<\/strong> released his fourth studio album, <\/span>Madman Across The Water<\/span><\/em>, featuring nine tracks composed and performed by Elton, with lyrics written by his songwriting partner Bernie Taupin<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album featured two future Elton classics, \u201cTiny Dancer\u201d and \u201cLevon,\u201d although neither were huge hits at the time they were released. In fact, while \u201cLevon\u201d peaked at #24, \u201cTiny Dancer\u201d failed to make the top 40, only making it to #41.<\/span><\/p>\n

Madman Across The Water<\/span><\/em>\u00a0charted at #8 on the <\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em> 200 Album chart and has gone on to be certified double Platinum by the RIAA.<\/span><\/p>\n
