Led Zeppelin\u00a0<\/strong>released their fourth studio album, which became known as\u00a0<\/span>Led Zeppelin IV.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The album featured what became their signature tune, \u201cStairway to Heaven,\u201d along with such future classics as \u201cGoing to California,\u201d “The Battle of Evermore,” \u201cWhen the Levee Breaks\u201d and \u201cRock and Roll.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The album went to #1 in Britain and Canada, and peaked at #2 in the U.S. It is Led Zeppelin’s bestselling album, moving over 37 million copies worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Led Zeppelin IV\u00a0<\/span><\/em>is often included on lists of the greatest albums of all time. In 1999 it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.<\/span><\/p>\n
