The rocker\u2019s company Lerxst has just revealed the new Grace limited-edition signature guitar, made in partnership with Canadian manufacturers Godin Guitars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The new axe is inspired by Lifeson\u2019s Hentor Sportscaster guitar that he used in 1984 while recording and touring behind\u00a0Rush&#8217;s 10th studio album,\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Grace Under Pressure<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">. Like the original, Grace is red with a mirror pickguard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is the second guitar launched by Lerxst. The first, the Limelight guitar, was inspired by the Hentor Sportscaster that\u00a0Lifeson used before recording Rush&#8217;s 1981 album,\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Moving Pictures<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe were blown away by the positive feedback we got from the release of Limelight earlier this year and knew that we wanted to do another one,\u201d Lifeson shares. \u201cWith Grace, we wanted to pay tribute to the 40th Anniversary of\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Grace Under Pressure\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">by building off of my favorite guitar from that period and \u2013 much like Limelight \u2013 evolving the concept to create an instrument with a sound and playability that would speak to modern players.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He adds, \u201cIt\u2019s a beautiful instrument that suits many different styles of playing and the mirrored pickguard comes in handy for late night sessions when you need, um, to check, ah, your hair or something.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">More information on the Lerxst Grace can be found at the official <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/reverb.com\/shop\/the-official-lerxst-amplification-reverb-shop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Lerxst Reverb Shop<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
