The Beatles<\/strong>\u2019 recent Grammy nomination for their single \u201cNow and Then\u201d has prompted more people to check out the tune.<\/span><\/p>\n

The song earned a Record of the Year nod\u00a0Nov. 8,\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Billboard<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> <\/span><\/em>reports that since then streams of the song jumped 42%, from 83,000 streams the\u00a0days prior to the nod to 118,000 streams in the days after.<\/span><\/p>\n

Released in November 2023, \u201cNow and Then\u201d features vocals\u00a0John Lennon\u00a0<\/strong>recorded on a demo in the late ’70s, along with new contributions from\u00a0Paul McCartney\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Ringo Starr<\/strong>, and guitar parts\u00a0George Harrison\u00a0<\/strong>recorded in the ’90s during the sessions for\u00a0The Beatles’\u00a0<\/span>Anthology\u00a0<\/span><\/em>series.<\/span><\/p>\n

The song may have a tough time nabbing a Grammy in that category, though. It\u2019s up against hits from\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>,\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong>,\u00a0Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>,\u00a0Charli XCX<\/strong>,\u00a0Billie Eilish<\/strong>,\u00a0Chappell Roan\u00a0<\/strong>and rapper\u00a0Kendrick Lamar<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
