While the upcoming Bob Dylan<\/strong> flick <\/span>A Complete Unknown<\/span><\/em> is not a straight biopic, director James Mangold<\/strong> says Dylan did have input in the film, although he wasn’t exactly fact-checking the project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mangold tells <\/span>Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> that he met with the rock icon several times before filming began, noting, \u201cI felt like Bob just wanted to know what I was up to.<\/span>\u2009<\/span>\u2018Who is this guy? Is he a s*******? Does he get it?\u2019 I think the normal questions anyone asks when they\u2019re throwing themselves in league with someone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes to the feedback he gave on the script, star Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong>\u00a0tells the mag, \u201cBob would have these one-off lines that were so fantastic. Jim has an annotated Bob script lying around somewhere. I\u2019ll beg him to get my hands on it. He\u2019ll never give it to me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But apparently Dylan was a bit mischievous when it came to what he wanted in the film, with Ed Norton<\/strong>, who plays Pete Seeger<\/strong>, sharing that Mangold revealed Dylan made him put what\u2019s described as \u201cone totally inaccurate moment\u201d in the film, although Mangold didn\u2019t say what it was.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to<\/span> Rolling Stone,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Norton said\u00a0Mangold was a bit worried about including it,\u00a0concerned about how the public would feel, to which Dylan reportedly said, \u201cWhat do you care what other people think?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
