Bon Jovi<\/strong> topped the <\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em> Hot 100 chart with \u201cBad Medicine,\u201d the lead single from their fourth album,\u00a0<\/span>New Jersey.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The song, written by Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong>, Richie Sambora<\/strong>\u00a0and Desmond Child<\/strong>, was the band\u2019s third #1 single following the <\/span>Slippery When Wet<\/span><\/em>\u00a0tracks\u00a0\u201cYou Give Love A Bad Name\u201d and \u201cLiving On A Prayer,\u201d which were also written by the trio.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBad Medicine\u201d spent two weeks at #1 in the U.S. and also landed\u00a0in the top 10 in Australia, Canada, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands and New Zealand.<\/span><\/p>\n
