Former Genesis<\/strong> guitarist Steve Hackett<\/strong> is set to release the new live album\u00a0<\/span>Live Magic At Trading Boundaries<\/span><\/em>\u00a0on Jan. 17.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album is a compilation of various recordings taken from years of shows at the intimate venue in Sussex, England, with Hackett performing stripped down versions of classic tracks, including solo material, and Genesis\u00a0tunes like “Blood On The Rooftops” and “Horizons.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s always a joy for me to play at Trading Boundaries, a magical intimate place full of beautiful lights and exotic imagery, illuminating the darkest time of year over Christmas and New Year,\u201d Hackett shares. \u201cIt\u2019s the perfect location for my acoustic set.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Coinciding\u00a0with the announcement, Hackett has shared the first track from the record, a performance of \u201c<\/span>Ace of Wands<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d a tune from his 1975 debut solo album,\u00a0<\/span>Voyage of The Acolyte<\/span><\/em>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n
