{"id":30978,"date":"2024-12-05T00:02:34","date_gmt":"2024-12-05T00:02:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/sean-lennon-ono-says-yoko-ono-never-has-moved-on-from-john-lennon\/"},"modified":"2024-12-05T00:02:34","modified_gmt":"2024-12-05T00:02:34","slug":"sean-lennon-ono-says-yoko-ono-never-has-moved-on-from-john-lennon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/sean-lennon-ono-says-yoko-ono-never-has-moved-on-from-john-lennon\/","title":{"rendered":"Sean Lennon Ono says Yoko Ono \u2018never has moved on\u2019 from John Lennon"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/syndication.abcaudio.com\/files\/2024-12-04\/Getty_JohnLennonYokoOno_120424.jpg\" alt><figcaption>Dennis Stone\/Mirrorpix\/Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Yoko Ono<\/strong> never remarried after <strong>John Lennon<\/strong> was killed in December 1980, and in a new interview, the couple\u2019s son,\u00a0<strong>Sean Ono Lennon<\/strong>, said his mother \u201cnever has moved on from that relationship.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sean made the revelation as he was talking to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sounds\/play\/m0025dkk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>BBC Radio 6 Music<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> host <strong>Chris Hawkins<\/strong> about what he learned putting together the box set for\u00a0his dad&#8217;s 1973 album,\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Mind Games<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">, which was released earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He noted that even though his parents\u00a0separated after the making of the album \u2014 Lennon went on to have a relationship with <strong>May Pang<\/strong>, in what was called Lennon\u2019s Lost Weekend \u2014 his mom and dad still loved each other.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe truth is, even when they were apart they were always talking, so I don\u2019t think they ever really broke up. All his stuff was still in the apartment with my mum, it\u2019s not like they had a real separation,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd on top of it, all my dad was thinking about was her.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He added, \u201cYou look at the album cover [of\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Mind Games<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">], it\u2019s a collage of my mum literally the size of a mountain, and he\u2019s this little tiny thing sort of fading into the background. And I think it\u2019s clear what his view of my mum was in his life.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sean noted, &#8220;She was monumental, obviously.
