{"id":31090,"date":"2024-12-20T21:02:29","date_gmt":"2024-12-20T21:02:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/julian-lennon-reveals-second-skin-cancer-scare\/"},"modified":"2024-12-20T21:02:29","modified_gmt":"2024-12-20T21:02:29","slug":"julian-lennon-reveals-second-skin-cancer-scare","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/julian-lennon-reveals-second-skin-cancer-scare\/","title":{"rendered":"Julian Lennon reveals second skin cancer scare"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/syndication.abcaudio.com\/files\/2024-12-20\/Getty_JulianLennon_122024.jpg\" alt><figcaption>Matt Winkelmeyer\/Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Julian Lennon<\/strong>, eldest son of <strong>The Beatles<\/strong>&#8216;\u00a0<strong>John Lennon<\/strong>, is opening up about a recent health scare, revealing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DDvJZFvS8OC\/?img_index=4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>on social media<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0he had surgery to remove melanoma from his skin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The musician shared that ahead of a trip to New York for some appearances, he went to see\u00a0the dermatologist who had previously diagnosed a mole as skin cancer back in 2020 \u201cand literally saved My Life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He said after finishing up an interview with <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Good Morning America<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">, his doctor called with another skin cancer diagnosis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201c<\/span><span class=\"s2\">I had 2 locations on My Skin, Shoulder &amp; Forearm, one of which was Melanoma, that should be operated on ASAP!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">He flew back to Los Angeles to take care of it, noting, \u201cThe operation was a success, but we have yet to have the results of the biopsy, which we may not receive before Christmas.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">\u201cObviously good news, would be the best Christmas present ever\u2026 Which I\u2019m hopeful for\u2026 But I just want to say, this is also a timely reminder to all, to please get yourself checked out by your doctor,\u201d Lennon writes. \u201cIt only takes a short while to do so, and you may just be saving your own life, at the end of the day\u2026 so please, for the sake of yourself, your family and friends just go to your Dr and do what must be done.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">Finally he notes, \u201cI love life and I want to live for a very long time and this is one way, and a choice, that could determine your future\u2026<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> I wish you all happy holidaze and a healthy long life\u2026 Love to all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
