The Black Crowes<\/strong> are nominated for a Grammy for their\u00a0latest album\u00a0<\/span>Happiness Bastards<\/span><\/em>, and they certainly feel honored by the recognition.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album, the group’s first collection of new material in 15 years, is nominated for Best Rock Album, and will compete with The Rolling Stones<\/strong>\u2019 <\/span>Hackney Diamonds<\/span><\/em>, Green Day<\/strong>\u2019s <\/span>Saviors<\/span><\/em>, Pearl Jam\u2019<\/strong>s <\/span>Dark Matter<\/span><\/em>, Jack<\/strong> White<\/strong>\u2019s <\/span>No Name<\/span><\/em>, Fontaines D.C.\u2019<\/strong>s <\/span>Romance<\/span><\/em> and Idles<\/strong>\u2019 <\/span>Tangk<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo be nominated with the Rolling Stones? I mean, that\u2019s pretty cool,\u201d Rich Robinson<\/strong> tells <\/span>Forbes<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, to be recognized in the industry that we have somehow kept at bay for 35 years? That feels good,\u201d Chris Robinson<\/strong> adds. \u201cAnd to be included with the Stones and Pearl Jam and Jack White and Green Day? And the younger bands! IDLES is such a f****** strong group. To be included with all of those bands makes me feel really good.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He adds, \u201cAnd, yeah – it\u2019s something that I\u2019m not used to.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Grammys will take place Feb. 2 in LA, and will air live\u00a0on CBS and will stream live on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
