It took 30 minutes for flames to be controlled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Prior to the fire breaking out, plans were in the works to turn the building, on the corner of Pico Boulevard and Hope Street in Los Angeles,\u00a0into\u00a0affordable housing. It has now been red-tagged, meaning it is unsafe to be occupied.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Released in February 1970, <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Morrison Hotel<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> peaked at #4 in the U.S. and featured the single \u201cRoadhouse Blues,\u201d which was a Hot 100 hit for the band and became a staple at their live shows.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
