We have a fun time and we just do it.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ringo and his All-Starr Band \u2014\u00a0<strong>Toto<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Steve Lukather<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Men at Work<\/strong>&#8216;s\u00a0<strong>Colin Hay<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Warren Ham<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Hamish Stuart<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Gregg Bissonette\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Buck Johnson<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 will hit the road starting June 12 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And Ringo has a perfectly good\u00a0explanation\u00a0for why he likes to surround himself with such A-list musicians.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI only want to be in a band. I don\u2019t want to be out on my own, \u201d he explains. \u201cThere\u2019s no way you can go out there and do \u2018Yesterday\u2019 just on drums.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ringo just released the new country album <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Look Up<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">,\u00a0but he wants fans to know he doesn&#8217;t plan to\u00a0fill his set with predominantly new songs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIn the late &#8217;90s, I would put in, like, two or three from the new album, and you could feel the room empty,\u201d he says. \u201cIt happens to everybody.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He then recalled seeing that happen at\u00a0<strong>Elton John<\/strong>\u2019s 1975 Wembley Stadium show supporting his then-new album <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Captain Fantastic<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">.\u00a0\u201cI was with his mother.
