Dion<\/strong> is back with a new tune, \u201cNew York Minute,\u201d which has the rocker paying tribute to the city of his birth, as well as his wife of 62 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe song \u2018New York Minute\u2019 expresses my love for my city, New York, and my wife Susan<\/strong>,\u201d Dion shares. \u201cWhen I first saw Susan, I could not think of anything else. I went to school but didn\u2019t hear one word the teacher said. All I could think about was her! Where is she now? What is she doing? I wanna look at her. I wanna talk to her. I wanna get close to her any way I can. My mind was on a loop.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNew York Minute\u201d is available now via digital outlets<\/strong><\/a>, with an accompanying video on YouTube<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The song follows the January release of Dion\u2019s book Dion: The Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Philosopher<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, described as \u201can intimate glimpse into Dion\u2019s remarkable seven-decade journey through rock \u2018n\u2019 roll history.\u201d The book, co-written with recovery and performance coach Adam Jablin<\/strong>, features contributions from Eric Clapton<\/strong>, Paul Simon<\/strong>, Steven<\/strong> Van Zandt<\/strong> and others.<\/p>\n
