Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0gig as host and musical guest on the Jan. 25 edition of\u00a0Saturday Night Live<\/em>\u00a0has brought renewed interest to the Bob Dylan<\/strong> deep cuts he performed on the show.<\/p>\n

According to <\/em>Billboard<\/em><\/a>, the songs\u00a0the A Complete Unknown<\/em> star\u00a0performed \u2014 “Outlaw Blues,\u201d \u201cThree Angels\u201d and \u201cTomorrow Is A Long Time” \u2014 all got a streaming boost from the show, with all three going from a total of about 9,000 streams before the show to 128,000 streams after.<\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow Is A Long Time,” which appeared on the 1971 compilation album Bob Dylan\u2019s Greatest Hits Vol. II<\/em>, saw the biggest boost, with a 1,100% increase, going from 4,000 streams the weekend prior to the performance to 52,000 streams in the days after.<\/p>\n

\u201cOutlaw Blues,\u201d from 1965\u2019s Bringing It All Back Home<\/em>, earned 45,000 streams following the performance, while \u201cThree Angels\u201d had 30,000.<\/p>\n

This was\u00a0Chalamet\u2019s\u00a0third time hosting Saturday Night Live<\/em>,\u00a0but his first time as musical guest. During his monologue he\u00a0explained why he chose the songs he performed, sharing, \u201cYou might not know the Bob Dylan songs I\u2019m performing, but they\u2019re my personal favorites.\u201d\u00a0He added, \u201cI\u2019m so grateful\u00a0Saturday Night Live\u00a0<\/em>is still doing weird stuff like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
