Crosby, Stills & Nash<\/strong> legends Stephen Stills<\/strong> and Graham Nash<\/strong> reunited Thursday night in\u00a0Inglewood, California,\u00a0for a performance at the all-star FireAid benefit concert.<\/p>\n

Stills, backed by rock band Dawes<\/strong> and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers<\/strong> guitarist Mike Campbell<\/strong>, started the performance with his Buffalo Springfield<\/strong>\u00a0track\u00a0\u201cFor What it\u2019s Worth,\u201d before bringing out Nash to perform their\u00a01970 classic\u00a0\u201cTeach Your Children.”<\/p>\n

Crosby, Stills & Nash broke up in 2015, and David Crosby<\/strong> passed away in January 2023.\u00a0In an interview\u00a0with Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in\u00a02024,\u00a0Nash said he doubted he’d ever play again with Stills, or their Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young<\/strong> band mate Neil Young<\/strong>\u00a0because of Crosby’s death, noting, “he really was the heartbeat of this band, and his passing brought a halt to us all making music together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other highlights of the\u00a0FireAid benefit included: The Black Crowes<\/strong> teaming with John Fogerty<\/strong> for \u201cHave You Ever Seen the Rain,\u201d\u00a0 and then later bringing out Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>\u2019 guitarist Slash<\/strong> for\u00a0a cover of the Led Zeppelin<\/strong> song \u201cGoing to California,\u201d and Joni Mitchell<\/strong> and her throne returning to the stage\u00a0for a performance of \u201cBoth Sides Now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show also featured hits-filled sets from Rod Stewart<\/strong>, Stevie Nicks<\/strong>, Sting,<\/strong>\u00a0Earth, Wind\u00a0& Fire<\/strong>, Stevie Wonder<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n

FireAid\u00a0took place at two venues, the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum. Money raised will benefit those affected by the California wildfires and to support efforts to keep such disasters from happening again.<\/p>\n
