The Beatles<\/strong> picked up another Grammy Award Sunday night, with their final song \u201cNow And Then\u201d winning best rock performance. Neither Paul McCartney<\/strong>\u00a0nor Ringo Starr<\/strong> were on hand to accept the award in person, but now Ringo has reacted to their latest honor.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow, another Grammy. Well, done everybody,\u201d he shared on Instagram<\/strong><\/a>, next to a photo of him giving the peace sign. \u201cI send you peace and love. That\u2019s right the beat goes on. thanks, peace and love Ringo.\u201d<\/p>\n

So far McCartney has not commented on the win.<\/p>\n

The win was The Beatles\u2019\u00a0eighth\u00a0Grammy Award and their first in 28 years. Their last wins came in 1997 when they won best pop performance by a duo or group with vocals; best music video, short form for \u201cFree As A Bird\u201d; and best music video, long form for The Beatles Anthology<\/em>.<\/p>\n

They were also honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.<\/p>\n

While The Beatles did win\u00a0best rock performance, they lost in the major category, record of the year. That honor went to Kendrick Lamar<\/strong> for “Not Like Us.”<\/p>\n
