More to follow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That &#8220;more to follow&#8221; includes U.S. dates that kick off Nov. 10 in Seattle,\u00a0with the tour hitting Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Washington, D.C., and more, including two nights at the Beacon Theatre in New York. It wraps Nov. 29 in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>Presale tickets go on sale Wednesday, with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday. A complete list of dates can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pattismith.net\/jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>pattismith.net<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Released in November 1975, <em>Horses<\/em> was a huge hit with critics and landed in the top 50 on the <em>Billboard<\/em> 200 chart. It\u00a0has appeared on several lists of the greatest albums of all time, and in 2009 it was chosen by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry.<\/p>\n<p>Smith\u2019s music is also being celebrated with an all-star tribute concert in New York. <em>People Have the Power &#8211; A Celebration of Patti Smith<\/em>, taking place March 26 at Carnegie Hall, will feature performances by <strong>R.E.M.<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>Michael Stipe<\/strong>, <strong>Ben Harper<\/strong>, <strong>Kim Gordon<\/strong>, <strong>The National<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Matt Berninger<\/strong>, <strong>Karen O<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sharon Van Etten<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n<p>The night will celebrate the <em>Horses<\/em> anniversary and will also include performances of songs from Smith\u2019s full catalog.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025, ABC Audio.
