The Black Crowes<\/strong>\u00a0and Led Zeppelin<\/strong> guitarist\u00a0Jimmy Page<\/strong>\u00a0are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their live collaboration.<\/p>\n

The artists\u00a0will rerelease Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes: Live at the Greek<\/em> on March 14, featuring a new mix of the album, along with 16 previously unreleased tracks, including\u00a0\u201cJams,\u201d a song Page and The Crowes’\u00a0Rich Robinson<\/strong> wrote during a soundcheck, as well as behind-the-scenes photos, videos and more.<\/p>\n

The 36-track album features performances of both Black Crowes and Led Zeppelin tunes, recorded in October 1999 at Los Angeles\u2019 Greek Theatre, and August 1999 at New York\u2019s Jones Beach theater.<\/p>\n

Page shares that he\u2019s \u201creally looking forward\u201d to the rerelease, noting, \u201cThe new mixes capture the collaboration of those historic encounters and provide the full explosive passion and exciting energy of those alchemical moments.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new Live at the Greek<\/em> box set brings the whole experience of our work with Jimmy into a vibrant, electric, mystical and powerful perspective,\u201d Crowes frontman Chris Robinson<\/strong> adds, with Rich\u00a0noting, \u201cGoing through the shows and putting together the new box set has been such an incredible dive back to that time in our history. It was a once-in-a-lifetime thrill to play these amazing iconic songs with the man who composed them.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a preview, two songs from the set have been released, The Crowes tune \u201cNo Speak No Slave<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and the never-before-released performance of \u201cBring It On Home<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d\u00a0from\u00a0Led Zeppelin’s 1969 album Led Zeppelin II<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Both songs are now available via digital outlets<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes: Live at the Greek<\/em> will be released in a variety of formats, including a 6-LP box set, and a 3-CD version. All are available for preorder<\/strong><\/a> now.<\/p>\n
