I\u2019ve since discovered that I have an auto-immune disease,\u201d he shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/briansetzerofficial\/posts\/pfbid0B5TYftLLcJJhGP3xtPyp5waHTyPfEkFb3x9wxb2YwhqEWRFYrup5nFvtU2B1C83Al\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>social media<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cI cannot play guitar. There is no pain, but it feels like I am wearing a pair of gloves when I try to play.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have seen some progress in that I can hold a pen and tie my shoes,&#8221; he adds. &#8220;I know this sounds ridiculous, but I was at a point where I couldn\u2019t even do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Setzer says he\u2019s being treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, which he describes as \u201cthe best hospital in the world,\u201d noting, \u201cI know I will beat this, it will just take some time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stray Cats released their self-titled debut album in 1981, which featured the hit songs &#8220;Rock This Town&#8221; and &#8220;Stray Cat Strut.&#8221; They disbanded in 1984, although they&#8217;d occasionally reunite over the years. Their most recent tour\u00a0was in 2024, which was their first tour together in five years.
