Steely Dan<\/strong> released their third studio album, Pretzel Logic<\/em>, which was the last to feature the full lineup of Donald Fagen<\/strong>, Walter Becker<\/strong>, Denny Dias<\/strong>, Jim Hodder<\/strong> and Jeff \u201cSkunk\u201d Baxter<\/strong>. Future albums would be recorded by Becker, Fagen and hired studio musicians.<\/p>\n

Pretzel Logic<\/em> was a top-10 hit for Steely Dan, peaking at #8 on the Billboard<\/em> 200. It featured the hit single \u201cRikki Don\u2019t Lose That Number,\u201d which was the highest-charting single of the band\u2019s career, hitting #4 on the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100.<\/p>\n

The album went on to be certified Platinum by the RIAA.<\/p>\n
