Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller<\/strong> is taking part in a new cover of\u00a0his classic\u00a0tune \u201cFly Like an Eagle<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new take on the song was released by Playing For Change<\/strong><\/a>, a multimedia project that aims to connect the world through music. It was released in conjunction with World Day of Social Justice and features artists from five different countries, including New Orleans musician Ivan Neville<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo much is at stake for humanity in today\u2019s world, it is difficult to create a message that is positive and inspirational. To help unify the world through the power of music is my greatest dream,\u201d Miller shares. \u201cPerforming a new version of \u2018Fly Like an Eagle,\u2019 with such talented people from around the world is a humbling experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFly Like an Eagle\u201d was the title track of Steve Miller Band<\/strong>\u2019s ninth studio album, released in May 1976. The song peaked at #2 on the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100.<\/p>\n
