Dan Fogelberg<\/strong>\u2019s sophomore album,\u00a0Souvenirs<\/em>, is getting a special 50th anniversary rerelease.<\/p>\n

A digitally remastered version of the record will be released<\/strong><\/a> April 4, featuring four bonus tracks made up of early versions and demos, as well as one never-before-heard song, \u201cI Know\u00a0a Thief.\u201d<\/p>\n

There will also be a limited-edition 180-gram audiophile vinyl<\/strong><\/a>, released on May 30, which includes a 16-page booklet featuring some never-before-seen photos\u00a0taken by\u00a0famed photographer Henry Diltz<\/strong>. There are also\u00a0 interviews from those who knew Fogelberg, including America<\/strong>\u2019s Gerry Buckley<\/strong>, and friend and manager Irving Azoff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSouvenirs<\/em> was such an important album for Dan, and it holds a special place in the hearts of his fans,\u201d Azoff shares. \u201cWe wanted to create a 50th anniversary edition that truly honors the album\u2019s legacy and provides fans with both a unique and collectible experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Released in October 1974, Souvenirs<\/em>, produced by Eagles<\/strong> guitarist Joe Walsh<\/strong>, featured Fogelberg\u2019s breakthrough song “Part of the Plan,” which was a top-40 hit. The album peaked at #17 on the Billboard<\/em> chart and went on to be certified double Platinum.<\/p>\n
