The first of three shows will be headlined by <strong>Grahame Lesh<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>son of the late Grateful Dead bassist <strong>Phil Lesh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/garciaschicago.live\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>venue\u2019s website<\/strong><\/a>, \u201cGarcia\u2019s Chicago is a concert venue and restaurant celebrating Jerry Garcia\u2019s extraordinary legacy, reflecting his heritage, eclectic artistry, and the vibrant community that surrounded him throughout his life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shapiro and\u00a0his company Dayglo Presents worked with the Garcia family on the venue. The website notes, \u201c[E]very element of Garcia\u2019s Chicago has been thoughtfully designed to tell a story, embracing the spirit of Jerry and the worlds he inhabited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Grahame Lesh &amp; Friends shows, the initial Garcia\u2019s lineup\u00a0features shows by <strong>The Blind Boys of Alabama<\/strong>, <strong>Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers<\/strong> keyboardist\u00a0<strong>Benmont Tench<\/strong>, <strong>Grace Potter<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>The Grateful<\/strong> <strong>String Band<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets go on sale March 14.
