After\u00a0getting a quick\u00a0teaser of the new <\/span>John Lennon<\/strong>\/<\/span>Yoko Ono<\/strong> documentary on Tuesday, a <\/span>full trailer<\/strong><\/a> for the film\u00a0<\/span>One to One: John & Yoko<\/em>\u00a0is now out.<\/span><\/p>\n

The trailer opens with a recording of Lennon leaving a phone message, and the person\u00a0on the other end of the line\u00a0asking him to spell his name and then adding, \u201cAre you a member of The Beatles<\/strong>?\u201d<\/p>\n

The film, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald<\/strong>, follows the 18 months John and Yoko lived in New York’s Greenwich Village in the early ’70s. At one point in the trailer Lennon is heard saying, \u201cI just got to see the Village for the first time. I really feel at home there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yoko is also heard talking about how she\u2019d been treated by the public, noting, \u201cI was considered a b**** in this society. Since I met John I was upgraded into a witch.\u201d It\u2019s followed by an audio clip of John sharing about Yoko, \u201cI fell in love with an independent, creative genius. I started waking up.\u201d<\/p>\n

The trailer features a variety of archival footage of the pair, with the film\u00a0culminating with\u00a0their 1972 One to One concerts, Lennon’s only full-length performances after The Beatles’ 1970 breakup.\u00a0The trailer also includes video footage from the shows, including Lennon performing \u201cImagine.\u201d<\/p>\n

It ends with someone asking, \u201cHow would you like to be remembered?” to which Lennon replies, \u201cJust as two lovers.\u201d<\/p>\n

One to One: John & Yoko<\/em> is set to open exclusively in IMAX theaters on April 11. Tickets are on sale now<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
