Bruce Springsteen<\/strong> fans are anxiously awaiting the upcoming movie Deliver Me From Nowhere<\/em>,\u00a0in which\u00a0The Bear\u2019<\/em>s Jeremy Allen White<\/strong> plays The Boss \u2014 and it sounds like they aren\u2019t going to be disappointed.<\/p>\n

While Springsteen has already said in interviews that he was impressed with White\u2019s portrayal, one of the actors in the film, comedian Marc Maron<\/strong>, is sharing just how well White pulled off the role.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Collider<\/strong><\/a>, Maron\u00a0talks about White doing his own singing in the film and shares, \u201c[T]here were times when Bruce didn’t know whether what he was listening to was him or Jeremy. It’s a good story, man.”<\/p>\n

Maron\u00a0plays a recording engineer named Chuck Plotkin <\/strong>in the film,\u00a0directed by Scott Cooper<\/strong>, noting it\u2019s a \u201cvery small part, but the guy is pivotal in the story.\u201d He adds that the best part about doing the role was getting to hang out on set with Bruce and his manger Jon Landau<\/strong>, who is played in the film by Jeremy Strong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“The real perk of doing that movie was Strong is playing Jon Landau, and White is playing Bruce, but Bruce and Jon, the real ones, were just out at Video Village,\u201d he says. \u201cThey were hanging out the whole time. So, Scott would yell cut, and then you\u2019d just go hang out with Bruce for a while. So, that was pretty great.\u201d<\/p>\n

He adds, \u201cSo anytime you had a minute to get off the set, you\u2019d just go ask Bruce some questions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Deliver Me From Nowhere\u00a0<\/em>follows Springsteen\u2019s efforts to make his 1982 solo album Nebraska<\/em>. The film is based on Warren Zanes<\/strong>‘ book Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen\u2019s Nebraska<\/em>.<\/p>\n
