An explosion in the South Valley on Monday led deputies to a man who was allegedly assembling explosive darts in his home. KOAT TV is reporting 63 year old Jess Paul has been charged with 22 counts of possession of an explosive device and one count of manufacturing an explosive device. During a search of the home, a dart exploded when the bomb squad tried to disassemble it. No one was injured. Bernalillo County deputies were called around 2 p.m. to a home after a neighbor reported an explosion nearby that shook his home.” When the Albuquerque Police Department bomb squad combed the property officers found 22 explosive darts and materials for making explosives.
