Incoming and current students at Doña Ana Community College (DACC) are now able to fill out their free application for federal student aid.
The 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA, is now open. Students are encouraged to fill this out as soon as possible at this link or attend an upcoming FAFSA workshop on Tuesday, December 17th at 3 p.m. inside Alex Sanchez Hall, room 116F at the Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina.
The workshop will assist students in completing their application, completing their financial aid file, and answering questions. A list of items to bring to the workshop can be found at FAFSA Workshop – Crimson Connection.
The FAFSA form is used to determine how much financial aid a student is eligible to receive, which includes grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. Students must apply each year.
In addition, students are also encouraged to fill out a Scholar Dollar$ application, which will assist them in applying for and being awarded scholarships.
For more information, please contact DACC’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships at (575) 528-7000 or email finaid@dacc.nmsu.edu.
