Albuquerque police say five siblings who went missing from their father/step-father’s apartment Saturday have been found safe.

The kids left the home in southeast Albuquerque around 7 Saturday night. The father, had just reunited with them last week, after finding them in Oklahoma with their mother, who did not have custody.

He says he brought all five children back with him to keep them out of foster care while their mother is facing charges. Police say the eldest child took her siblings from the home, presumably to be with a relative who lives in the area.
