Doña Ana Community College (DACC)’s AVANZA program is hosting two free resource fairs for students and the public.
The first fair will be Wednesday, September 11th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the DACC Gadsden Center, 1700 E. O’Hara Rd. in Anthony, NM. There will be community organizations from the Income Support Office, MET-Scholarships for farmworkers, Blue Cross Blue Shield, NM Legal Aid and more. There will also be free lunch and dessert from Caliche’s while supplies last.
The second fair is Thursday, September 19th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the DACC East Mesa Campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., inside the student resources building. The first 350 attendees will receive free giveaways and food from Acai with Me. Resources such as Casa de Peregrinos, La Casa, the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, legal services, and more will also be available.
These events aim to connect our students and community members with valuable resources from both DACC and local partners. More than 50 community resource organizations were invited to attend.
