Just as the U.S. gets back on its feet and cities begin to reopen for business, a new report touts Las Cruces as a city full of sunny weather, great outdoor activities, and an airport undergoing renovations that will greatly improve interconnectivity for residents and visitors.

The report released by Resonance Consultancy, a company specializing in real estate, tourism, and economic development, allows Las Cruces to add the “Best Small City” title to its list of accolades. The 2020 America’s Best Small Cities Report places Las Cruces at number 50 in a list of 100 cities with populations between 100,000 and 500,000 people. Resonance evaluated qualifying cities based on place, product, programming, people, prosperity, and promotion.

“While the overall ranking is great, the most exciting part is the highlight of the efforts at the airport and how that will translate into better interconnectivity for our city and the further growth of the aviation and aerospace cluster in our region,” said Dr. Griselda Martinez, Economic Development Director. “The word is getting out,” she said of the City’s efforts.
